Fear can both nock us off track or have the insane ability to keep us off track. Fear has a grip on this world in too many ways.
Fear of: heights, depths, dark, failure, the unknown, death, phobias.
Just to name a few of them. Overcoming fear is a journey. It’s not like you can just wake up the next day and touch a spider (one of my personal fears) somedays I still get the fear pumping through me hardcore when they surprise me with a drop attack. But most days I no longer scream or cry I just quickly move from the said area and ask someone to kill it. And on other days I’ve been known to kill a few (really tiny ones)
Another one of my fears is death. Even tho I know where I’m going none of us knows what that looks like. So it’s a two-part fear, death and the unknown. But what I do know and what I have to remind myself of daily. Is to trust in the Lord and even tho we don’t understand his timing he has a plan and his plan is perfect. That doesn’t mean I’m any less afraid it means I can function in my fear. Fear is a natural life obstacle. But if we want to keep living and if we want to get the most out of this life (in which we only have this one shot here on the earth) then we have to be able to move obstacles every time they come around. Fight our fears so that they can’t derail us!
