I think that is something that is said in the gaming world, if not it 100% should be!
Once you know Jesus and you understand the weight of him dying on the cross to save (the world, and each person in it) from sin. I mean seriously y’all Watch Passion of the Christ with a box of tissues.
Sometimes when I think about how my sin was too deep to undo, too dark to be forgiven.
I broke more than 1 of the 10 commandments ( I once had a person tell me if I broke even one of them I’d never get into heaven) sometimes I would get the idea “that guy is probably right I won’t get into Heaven.” Stop that attitude y’all, it’s egotistical and selfish. And I’m going to sound harsh but you are only thinking about yourself. (Don’t think I don’t have to tell myself the above on repeat)
I stop and think to myself the weight of what Jesus went through the fact he was an innocent man from birth until his death and the grace he carried in his final hours even as he was being tortured. Y’all he was tortured to death, for YOU and ME.
He chose to die so that we may live.
Take that sin, repent it. Ask for forgiveness and try your hardest to never do it again. And if you fall, you take that sin back to the Lord ask for forgiveness, and as you cry out to him. (Because let’s be real if you aren’t feeling guilty, then check your heart and your relationship because it may be broken) and you start right back at step one.
I don’t know about the whole I was born again talk. According to the gentleman that said if I broke one commandment I’d not be going to heaven. He was “born again” and that’s how he was getting in. Well, lemme tell ya what I’d be born again a good dozen times maybe even plus. But I can also tell you when your relationship is strong with the Lord your ability to kick sin to the curb is a whole lot stronger. Every relationship takes work. The most important one should be with the fire that lights the rest of them!
Y’all it’s time to level up! Stand with Jesus so that when the end does come you get to go home! Get to know him now because every day is one day closer to the day he comes back. You never know, the rapture could happen on a Tuesday. That’s tomorrow, be prepared!
Don’t be asleep in your faith friends. Please I love you all too much to see you endure the future state of things to come. (Found in Revelations)
“Therefore, be on the alert–for you do not know when the master of the house is coming, whether in the evening, at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning– in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep.
