Matthew 12:36-40 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words, you will be condemned.
We can’t change the way someone else walks, talks, and acts.
We can however take a moment to take other people’s actions and words into account and use them to check our own hearts.
Have you ever stopped to think about the way you conduct yourself when walking around in this world?
The easiest life lesson I was ever taught as a child by my parents was to treat others as I would want to be treated. It’s so simple and easy.
And another was to live as Jesus lived, and Love.
When, we fail to check our heart and soul who is in control?
My strength comes from the Lord, I get that from the relationship that I’ve built with Him.
It grows when I spend time in the word, when I gather with my friends and family that help me to grow, and when by the gift of God you have an amazing Pastor who is there to guide you.
Even when I spend time in the word, and strengthen that relationship with the Lord I still have weaknesses.
A Pastor is an amazing Gift from God. Given to a congregation to help them to Grow, to spread seeds in their community, to strengthen lives, to be a sounding board when all other avenues of your faith just aren’t coming together. IE you struggle with a life circumstance, or you’re not feeling the Holy Spirit in you, you’re questioning things you’ve read so on and so forth. God has given us this person we can go to, confide in, and pray with, and a Pastor in my experience always has just the right thing, even if no answer, a prayer that brings you back on track with where you need to be.
My strength comes from the Lord and from the Army, he has placed in my life.
When I’m out there walking in this world I smile because that strength is with me, it backs me up and helps me move forward. It helps me to remember who I am, and how I want to treat others. My question is what/who do you have to help you check your heart and soul?
Are you walking in the light or spreading evil seeds?
Watch your words and your actions because they can tear people down versus build them up! And when we are built up and unified, we are stronger.
