Ever have one of those days where lyrics just keep you saying amen! We’ve had a lot of friends going through a lot of stuff at the moment from losing parents, to having kiddos In the hospital battling new life challenges at too young of an age, to being hospitalized twice in one year with a fairly life altering diagnosis. All 3 sets at this moment in time have a great relationship with the Lord. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t asking questions and saying “really Lord?” “ this now?” If they aren’t asking it I’m asking it for them. It’s not that I don’t believe in him or trust in his plan. It’s that we don’t know his plan and sometimes we can get scared. And when it does end in a loved one going home to be with the Lord it’s hard to say goodbye even tho we know we will see them again.
Maybe it was because I was listening to Spotify Finding Favor station, but most likely it was just God saying Listen up Em, I played these all for you because you have been praying for these people non stop, yet I can still feel you questioning me. It’s true we had a pretty big heart to heart last night. And today my heart strings were tugging for all 3 friends, and I get a LOT out of worship. Anyways Spotify goes on shuffle right here was my shuffle:
Cast My Cares: the lyrics that stuck out most;
When my fear feels bigger than my faith, I will cast my cares on you, your the anchor of my hope the only one who’s in control.
And the other three songs were I AM, Refuge, and Get Down. So for the sake of this getting lengthy I won’t post the rest of the lyrics that stuck out to me. But to my friends going through the things you should take a listen I prayed for all of you during these songs! And continue to pray often for you and your family. Know that it’s okay to question God because that means we fear him, and it’s good to fear him because he IS the Creator of the World. Which means He is capable of Miracles! And he is also capable of carrying us when we need to be carried because His perfect will has been done and we may need to lean on him because we weren’t ready for his timing but alas it’s come.
